The month of May means photography in Toronto with the annual "Contact Photo Festival". This year there are approximately 1000 photographers contributing work that is shown in galleries and public spaces all over the city. On Saturday I had the opportunity to take in a few venues around the Queen Street West area. One outstanding exhibit was by Olena Sullivan at the Gladstone Hotel called "The Vanishing Point". These are beautifully reconstructed multi shot images from slightly different vantage points. I'd always wanted to try something like this but never got around to doing it until Olena's exhibit sparked my interest.
