Sorry for the delay in posting but I wanted to get a bit of a head start on processing before I started. This is an image of the Solfar Suncraft, a modern stainless steel sculpture of a traditional viking craft that looks out into Reykjavik harbour. The sun is just rising here and I think the time was around 4 am. The city of Reykjavik is a vibrant, arts driven city (the capital of Iceland) where about 70% of the countries population lives. This starts in stark contrast to the rest of the country which seems refreshingly pastoral in nature. |
