I don't usually take flower shots because it's hard to get something that's different but I wanted to submit an image in a theme competition for our local camera club. I set this up outside on the weekend as the sun was getting lower and positioned the vase on a white board so the shadow was clear. From there I just climbed a ladder so I could shoot straight down on the scene.
