Last week myself and a friend took a trip to the east side of Buffalo NY to see about getting some photo's of either the Transfiguration Church or the Grand Hall of the Buffalo Central Terminal. I'd seen photo's of these magnificent old buildings on the DKPhotoGroup.com website and a print of Russell Brohier's (www.russellbrohier.com) of Transfiguration and was determined to see these for myself. Unfortunately, we were probably 6 months too late and both locations are now sealed tightly and inaccessible (short of actually breaking in which we weren't prepared to do for a couple of pictures). While at the Buffalo Central we were able to access a couple of out buildings and this image was taken in one of them. I know this is quite a departure from what has been posted lately but for what ever reason I found it appealing - maybe it's the simple shapes, colours and light patterns - so here it is - The Ritz. Probably not to most peoples taste but that's OK. |
