When I drive in to work, rather than riding my bike, I usually carry my camera - just in case. On Monday morning I was glad I hadn't left it behind because with the time change over the weekend the sun now rises just as I'm driving in. At first it didn't look that good but then it just got better and better until I had to detour down to the harbour to get a good view. Not only we're the clouds on fire but the ice now had patches where it had melted and refroze giving a highly reflective surface. The steel mill on the horizon made a nice division between the ice and clouds. 43 16' 39.44" N, 79 51' 35.44" W View E |
