I haven't posted an industrial scene from Hamilton for quite some time so I decided to head out last night (before the rain sets in for 5 days) and see what I could find. As such I ended up on Eastport Drive looking across at the coke and iron facilities of Dofasco (the starting point for making the steel that we all use in our everyday lives). On a windy, clear evening, the view is quite spectacular with the massive steam clouds being illuminated from the various lights and flare stacks. The yellow/orange glow was caused by a flare stack with a bright orange flame located behind one of the buildings.
